A small drama club to generate interest in the art of theatre, creative exploration in one’s own talents, and learning stage terminology/creating costumes and sets. They'd learn the importance of body language, how to read scripts, and coping strategies to utilize while dealing with feelings of unease (performing in front of peers). The idea is to start off small with acting games and the goal is to eventually have a group and start working towards putting a play together for the end of the school year. This gives the students an opportunity to face their own anxieties in social settings by giving them a safe place to express themselves in front of their peers.
